Aggie the Alien shows Hillingdon children round the NHS

A NEW video featuring Aggie the Alien, who landed in Hillingdon from outer space and is discovering how people manage their health, has been launched.

It was produced to give children a greater understanding of how local health services work and how many common illnesses can be treated at home.

For instance, Aggie discovers a pharmacy has lots of useful healthcare items and provides advice if she has a minor health issue.

If the problem is more serious but not an emergency, she can give NHS 111 a call and a trained operator will advise on what to do.

You can also read about Aggie’s adventure to Hillingdon in her book Help Aggie the Alien Navigate the NHS available to borrow at all borough libraries in the family section.
