Young people can discuss concerns around their health, safety and wellbeing with neutral professionals, as Croydon's youth bus returns this week.
Those going to a new secondary school will have the chance to pick up tips around safe journeys, looking after phones and other topics as the bus aims to provide a reassuring presence in the town centre.
Councillor Alisa Flemming, cabinet member for children, young people and learning, said: “Hundreds of young people across Croydon are heading back to school and we want to give them all the best start to the new term.
“Choose Your Future will be helping everyone make the best possible start to the new term so if you’re passing on North End then please visit the team.”
Supported by Croydon BID, the Metropolitan Police, Croydon Music and Arts and others the event will also give young people the chance to say where they’d like to see the youth bus making appearances across the borough.
The project is part of the Choose Your Future, launched in 2017 to help "empower and celebrate the borough’s young people and support them to make positive life choices".
The youth bus will be on North End between 2.30pm and 5.30pm from Wednesday September 4 until Friday September 6.
